The only advantages to it that I know of are its gorgeous to look at and it stays relatively cool in the summer unless it is in diret sun but it is hard to clean it collects bugs around it and you have to clean it constantly or it will dull and look terrible.

Obviously marble will look good. It it pretty durable so it shouldn't need a lot of maintenance. It may need to be cleaned and re-sealed a few times a year.

The advantages of a marble threshold is that it will last many years. It is not unusable easily. It looks very beautiful. We can use it comfortably. It is better than wood. Because the colour is not so much beautiful than marble threshold. We find various marble which has a nice design.
