Providing defense, by not only securing our borders but keeping order within the country. Maintaining National Identity, or protecting what we believe in as a nation. Proper representation of our values to the world, by working well with other nations. Creating and maintaining infrastructure, and providing adequete social welfare for it's people are the main purposes of government.

1. Government should provide affordable housing for everyone within the society who pay taxes. 2. Government should provide employment for all citizens of all ages and backgrounds 3. Government should provide decant affordable heath care for all it's citizens who contribute taxes 4. Government should also maintain order and economic stability for the people. 5. Provide education for all.

Defense is the first, to protect its borders from foreign attack. National identity is the second. Every country has its own culture, traditions, flag, customs, etc. Third is representation, which deals with treaties and agreements with other countries. Infrastructure (roads, bridges, etc) and Social Welfare round out the five purposes.
