When rewinding fishing line onto the spool of a reel, I attach a weight to the end of the line. I then stretch the line to get some tension on it and start reeling the line onto the spool. The weight will keep tension on the line.

Always wind the line off the spool like it was toilet paper on the wall. Place the spool over a screwdriver, line over the top, and onto the reel. Hold the line between your forfinger and thumb to provide some resistance, and don't wind the reel too fast.

If you're looking to re-spool a bunch of it... use a drill without the bit. Depending on the spool, it might take a bit of work to attach it, but once it's on you've got yourself an automatic winding machine that takes just a push of a button! Do remember to wear gloves as you guide the line.

Well the best way to winding fish lines is to attach some kind of heavy weighted object to the end of the line. This allows for you to fish deeper.

i have someone sit next to me and hold a pen or a pencil with the fishing line spoon on it while i reel up the fishing line. the person with the spool can control the tension by pressing there thumb against it so it doesn't get any tangles or knots

When winding fishing line onto a reel, first you put the line threw all the eye holes on the pole. Next put the end of the line on the line holder on the reel. Then you reel the line up and then your done.
