You can go to the website and apply. I would recommend getting professional singing lessons and having friends listen to you and have them be honest with you as to how you sing.

There are many people who can sing well, but you need to show that you have personality and showmanship along with a good voice. Having a rags-to-riches or bad-made-good story helps once you are past the first stage.
