Chrome storage shelf units work well in laundry rooms as they provide storage space for laundry supplies and clothes as they come out of the dryer. Racks that have hanging bars are also helpful to hang shirts and other items of clothing to reduce wrinkles. If posible, a small sink and storage vanity are also helpful additions.

Good items for a laundry room include a rack to stack clean clothes and towels on, a sorter rack with several bins it to put dirty laundry in.

I'd start with a washer and dryer. After that, how big is your laundry room? Is there a place for a table or counter to fold clothes on? A drying rack for delicates? I'd go with a wall mount TV.
