What are some remedies for ringworms?

How about a home remedy?

Nail polish. No, not kidding. Coat the ring worm in nail polish, leave it on all day, and just keep applying fresh coats of clear nail varnish. An alternative is 100% Tea tree oil - it's exceptionally toxic, very effective, and should be kept away from pets and children.

Many people say tea tree oil works wonders on ring worm. Massage it into the affected area a few time a day and it SHOULD clear up. Home remedies don't always work for everyone though.

You could try using Lamisil to treat it because it is a fungus. I've heard that zinc also works too, but I'm not sure

Some of the home remedies include putting a paste on ringworm made of salt and vinegar, applying fingernail polish to the affected area, and a bleach-water mixture. Blue Star Ointment applied to the ringworm is reported to be an effective treatment.

The best way to fight skin problem is to drink plenty of water and it is natural. A little exercise like yoga, meditation, morning walk are good for our health.

If that were effective, ringworm would have died out thousands of years ago. Fungus, unfortunately, is not susceptible to 'water and exercise'.  add a comment
