Beijing is a must. There's the Imperial palace and trips to the Great Wall. Also, the pearl market and acrobatic shows. Huangshan mountain on the east coast is beautiful if you enjoy hiking. Shanghai is the modern city with interesting architecture. Xian has the terracotta warriors. Guilin and nearby Yuangshou are breathtaking! Also, Tiger Leaping Gorge out west is unbelievable.

China boasts many impressive landmarks, and many are found in the capital city of Beijing. Another popular attraction is the Great Wall of China, accessible from many parts of the country. If you visit Xian (in the west), a must-see location is the Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses.

The Great Wall of China and the forbidden city is a good tourist attraction. If you go there please try the food, and get a massage.

You definitely will want to walk on the Great Wall of China. I would suggest visiting the Terra Cotta Army. Also, make sure you visit the Forbidden City in Bejing.

There are certainly a lot to choose from. If the time is right, China is known for there dragon boat races, a popular sport there. In the end though the most popular landmark to check out has to be the Great Wall of China.
