There are a lot of fun inexpensive group activities you can do. Laser tag is a popular option, as are pick-up games at a local park. Having a potluck dinner is a great way for everyone to get to know each other better. Doing volunteer work together is another great way to bond.

Some activities my church fellowship group tended to enjoy were holding community dinners and other activities to serve the community such as nursing home visits. We held an annual Halloween party for kids. We also completely planned and ran one church service per year ("Youth Sunday") in which we wrote the sermon (usually a skit) and selected the music.
