Leafy green vegetables are good for fiber (not iceberg lettuce). Cereals such as bran and granola are also good, and whole grain bread is pretty good too.

Many fruits and vegetables are high in fiber, including bananas, apples, pears, raspberries, artichokes, peas, and broccoli. Legumes like split peas, lentils, and black beans are also a good choice.

Whole grains, fruits, legumes, and vegetables all tend to have high fiber content. For example 1 apple with skin has about 4.4 grams of fiber.

All fruits and vegetables are high in fiber. Some like broccoli and cauliflower especially so. Also whole grains, bran, and psyllium husks are highly recommended. The best choice is chia seeds. They are one of the highest fiber foods and the also regulate your entire digestive system without increasing gas and bloating of other fiber foods.
