Some good topics for an informational speech are various health issues. Many people tend to take their health seriously. Common health related informational speech topics include, but are not limited to: HIV/AIDS, proper sexual health, how to exercise safely and effectively, information regarding the safety of supplements and vitamins, the dangers of drunk driving.

You can always do one on a disease, either rare, or well known. You could also do one on a government policy (ie how to get married, how to get your license,etc). You could also do one a type of clothing trend. Pretty much anything you know a lot about.
