My baby loved the traditional poem," Patty Cake, Patty Cake". The repetition of the vowel "a" in patty, cake, bake, man, make, can is reassuring. Let the baby's fingers curl around yours as you act out the words," Roll it, and roll it, and mark it with B, and lift his arms high to say, "And Baby and me!"

By far the greatest baby poem for a parent is "I'll Love you for ever" "I'll Like you for always" " As long as your living" "My baby you'll be" It never fails to bring a tear to my eye. Ok it is actually a children's book that repeats it over and over but....
