Adding extensions to short hair is a very glamorous look, then you can curl or add whatever style you like. Also very glamorous are updo's. You can even add texture to your hair by finding jewels or flowers that go with your dress.

It would really depend on the dress you are wearing. My general rule is, the more skin showing, then the more flowy the style. Try spiral curls half pinned up.

Personally, I think it looks really pretty when girls keep their hair down and wavy, and add extensions to make it super long for their special night. However, if you want to wear your hair in a traditional updo, some options are a high, ballerina bun; a classic, chic chignon; or a half-up, curled style.
