Brown tones are excellent fall colors along with deep oranges. Avoid incorporating any pastels or bright hues as these are typically reserved for summer and spring weddings.

When i think of a wedding held in the fall i think of using colors that are on the darker more earthy side. Some nice colors to use would be a deep purple or plum color and a bronze or gold color that would go well together. You can also use shades of red.
