The most traditional recipe is without doubt the classic pork, sage and onion stuffing. Use sausage meat, breadcrumbs, white onions and fresh sage, season with black pepper and bind together with egg.

A traditional stuffing recipe will have the following ingredients; bread cubes, onions, shredded or diced celery and carrots, diced apples, chopped walnuts and possibly mushrooms(for mushroom lovers)! Some of the seasonings one would use are salt, pepper, sage and garlic powder! Saute the veggies in melted butter, first!

I would stick with the Old Fashioned Stuffing. It is traditional without all the weird stuff. You can also try Mom's stuffing Turkey it is very good and easy to prepare.

Combine buttered day-old bread cubes with broth, beaten egg, milk, salt and pepper, and poultry seasoning. Form into balls the size of muffins and bake on cookie sheet til golden.
