What are some answers to 'What do you consider your biggest achievement and why' in a job interview?

Anything. The interviewer is not really interested in what you say but how long it takes you to respond. He/she wants to see if you can think on your feet.

Give concrete examples. List how many clients you landed or the largest contract that you brought in. You completed a specific number of contracts or brought in so much business. You saved the company so many dollars in a six sigma project or reduced the defect rate by a certain amount.

Often, good responses revolove around a strong work performance, or research one may have participated in or conducted. A standard answer would consist of graduation from college or high school, but many employers prefer originality in this response. Tap into something that is unique to yourself, perhaps an activity or volunteer organization you are highly involved in.
