What are some advantages to becoming a male nurse?

Nursing is a great profession and in great demand in the U. S. Nurses in a particular institution or position are paid the same, regardless of gender. Male nurses may be more capable of liftinga nd moving heavier patients, but other than brawn, male nurses have no advantage over their female counterparts.

For one thing there aren't many. They are in an increasing demand. There are nurse jobs in all states across the country. In addition, there are many different types of doctor's offices you can work at. Hospitals give jobs to many nurses and as far as I know most of them were women. Men are un commonon and deeded.

nurses are in high demand and some male patients feel more confortable be treat by a male in the medical setting

My brother is a male nurse at childrens in denver he went ahead and got his BA and is an RN. He has worked there 8 years and he makes over 70 thousand a year I would say that is a terrific advantage. He makes great money and is well respected.
