If your up to the task yourself buy a direct spray insecticide for bees and follow the directions on the can. Otherwise I would hire a professional exterminator if you don't mind the expense.

Vinegar is a good bait for a homemade water trap to help eliminate hornets. You then cut the top of the bottle off. Create a mixture of 1 cup of sugar sweetened water, one cup of apple cider vinegar, a drop of mild dish soap, and some raw meat. Place mixture in bottle. Your ready to kill some hornets!
