One recommendation is use of physical therapy or to see a chiropractor who can make some slight adjustments on the vertebrae to relieve pressure on nerves. Check your yellow pages for a doctor in your area or call the American Medical Association for a recommendation for a really good practitioner.

Why don't you talk to your doctor about it? When you are talking nerves you really shouldn't take the advice of anyone but a specialist. If you do the wrong thing you could end up with worse damage or even full or partial paralyzation! Talk to your doc.

Some physicians will prescribe amitryptyline hydrochloride for stress incontinence that is caused by compressed nerve roots. That is the only one I really know of that you could check on :-)

It really doesn't work good at all... I know because I tried it and it doesn't always have pleasant side effects either  add a comment
