The darT board is hung so that the center of the bullseye is 5'8" or 1. 74m from the floor. The throw line is generally located 7'9" or 2. 37m from the face of the dart board measured horizontally. These are the variations in distance and some people play 7'6" and as far as 9'in the UK.

A regulation dartboard will have an 18in diameter, and be 1. 5in thick. The single number outer area should measure 3. 547 square inches, and the single number inner area should measure 2. 297 square inches. The single bull's-eye area should measure 1. 031 inches, and the double bull's-eye area should measure 0. 196 inches.

Bulleye should be 1. 031 square inches with double bull being. 196 square inches Outer single area is 3. 547 while inner is 2. 297, and the double. 773 while the triples is. 479 all square inches. Board should be 1. 5 inches thick w a diameter of 18 inches
