A small room should be painted with light colors to make the room look larger. Shades of white are good, for a burst of color a sunny yellow or pale blue is good. Pale colors are a good choice, a light green or golden sand color. Champagne is a neutral color, touches of color can be added in the accessories.

go with a light color, and using faux painting techniques is also an easy way to liven up a small room. it can be as simple as smearing around paint with a sponge - it looks so much better than flat painting.

The lighter the paint the bigger the room will look. I would go with a pale yellow, light blue or sage green. Just depending on the room and your taste in color. You can get paint samples with different variations of light colors.

You want light, bright colors. Dark colors will make the room seem smaller than it actually is, which is not an ambiance you want. I suggest eggshell white, light yellows or oranges for a gender-neutral room, and light blues or purples for a child's room.

For small rooms you are going to want to avoid using dark or bright colors. Go with lights, baby blues and or pale yellows or pinks would be a good choice. Just remember that dark colors cause your room to look smaller.

Usually it makes sense to have a light colored paint in a small room, otherwise it might look smaller and darker too much. Also, decorations could be used to make it feel more comfortable.
