What are good career paths for former military?

It would all depend on your speciality while you were in service. Usually those with military service may chose to go in to crimal justice. Becoming cops, security guards or corrections officers. Others find that doing contract work for the government is a great way to use the skills that they have.

1. security officer or private security 2. police officer 3. parole officer 4. if you were in a technical profession in the military, do the same work as a civilian.

People with former military experience should seek jobs in a field with a lot of structure. Places like medical facilities are a perfect example.

NOT policing or corrections! Former military do not make good cops for they are arrogent and unteachable. What these people are saying is a misconception, but albeit played out anytway.
