Should I use grouting around the base of my toilet?

No, you shouldn't. The only seal that is needed at the base of the toilet is the wax seal around the drain pipe. Grouting might damage the floor if you ever have to remove or replace the toilet for any reason.

You should use a silicon based caulk around the base of a toilet to seal around the tiling. It will resist moisture and give the fixture some flexibility.
