Should I buy up cheap property?

It all depends on where the property is. It does not make sense to buy where the value stays low regardless of how the economy is.

Cheap property may be cheap because it is undervalued by the market, or it may be cheap because the market correctly discounts its worth. There is no bad time to buy the former variety, and the latter variety is always a mistaken investment. Do research and be wary.

Property isn't always the best investment, as you don't see returns on it until you sell it and meanwhile you have to pay taxes on it. The market is rebounding currently, I'd say that's a better investment. Start with a Roth IRA and go from there, such as a CD.
