I wouldn't be too worried - my little girl (14 months) often has this. It depends what you've been feeding them - foods like sweetcorn and peas have a tough, fibrous skin around them, which tends not to be digested. For young babies it's probably best to mash peas or corn so they can get the goodness out.

Yes. This is not a healthy sign. If you had given a food hard for the baby to digest, the indigestion would take place. Some mothers think that if they give lot of food then the child will grow fast. This creat a problem for the child to digest. Naturally this cause the above mentioned problem in the stool.

Finding undigested food in the stool of an older baby who is eating bite-sized pieces of food is normal because some foods like corn, broccoli, and beans are harder to digest than others. However, you should not be feeding larger pieces to a baby that is just starting solids. In this case you should puree the food.

No, don't be concerned. Babies have a very immature digestive system and that's one of the reasons baby food is such a disgusting consistency. But when they get older and are able to eat table food, they still may not digest things like corn or beans. Some things just aren't digestible for babies or for adults.

Probably not. Some foods, corn for instance, are harder for the body to digest, and may be passed whole. Babies systems aren't as developed so more foods may not be broken down. Try mashing or blending them. If your baby is losing weight, however, go to your pediatrician for an exam.
