Swollen lymph node can mean a number of things. Most likely your body is just reacting to a virus you have been exposed to, such as a cold and is trying to fight it off. If this continues for more than 2 weeks I would see your doctor about this.

I personally think you should see your doctor. That can be a sign of some serious diseases if left untreated like Strep throat, or even cancer. Plus with them swelling I can imagine the pain that you are in.

There are really no treatments for swollen lymph nodes, however the underlining cause may be able to be treated. It is important if you have fever, night sweats or even weight lost that you should see a doctor to make sure that you do not have an infection.

Any noticeable swelling of lymph nodes should be taken seriously. If it is a sudden onset it could be due to a sudden illness.
