Most likely its caused from a nerve in your face being pinched from a toothes root or sometimes there are nerve endings that trigger other nerve pain, this causes a chain reaction which can sometimes cause spreading pain. If this pain is soemthing that worries you it would be best to seek a professionals advice.

Yes, this may be a sign of infection in the tooth that has spread and could cause other problems. The question I have to ask is: are you feeling sick to stomach? This is infection. This can cause possible heart problems along with affecting other organs of the body.

You should go to the emergency room. Most of the time it is ear pain that you are feeling to your arm and not tooth pain.

I would encourage you to talk to your doctor about this symptom. Your doctor needs to rule out any serious conditions, such as heart problems, with this symptom.
