Should I be concerned about loose permanent teeth in children?

Take the child to the doctor! My grandson was 11 when his permanent teeth started to loosen. It took 6 visits to dentists, orthodontists, oral surgeons and finally the pediatrician to diagnose leukemia! Don't let it go!

No, you shouldn't worry about loose permanent teeth in children. I have a little sister and her teeth are loose sometimes, but just ignore them and in a few days they will harden up again. This seems to be a trend. Although, you should make sure that it is loose and not wiggly, otherwise, seeing a dentist is suggested.

I certainly would be. It would probably be best to take the child to see a dentist. See what can be done, if repair or replacement is an option. Permanent teeth will not grow back so it is important to take the very best care of them as they will need to last a lifetime.

Yes, they should not be loose. Get the child to a dentist as soon as you can. The tooth could be dead or damaged and that is bad. The quicker you get treatment the better the outcome. A dentist will be able to diagnose the problem quickly so don't delay.

Any abnormality with your child's health or dental hygiene is good reason to see a doctor or dentist. Loose teeth, even if they're permanent, are not all that uncommon. It could be that rest of their teeth have not grown in fully, leaving a bit of extra room for them to wobble around in.
