Enjoy the outdoors somewhere natural such as a park with a nature trail. Biting insects can't fly very well in the wind so you shouldn't be bothered by them.

Take a walk. The wind will make you feel alive. Pay attention to the smells of nature, and the wind messing with your hair.

On a windy day, it's fun to go outside and sail toy boats in a nearby lake or pond. If the boats are really well crafted, you can get a lot of sail out of them, and the wind will be sure to maneuver them at high speed. It's a great activity for kids, too!

I completely agree... i am surprised how few people are into this hobby. Remote control sailboats operate in the same way that fullsize sailboats operate and it is really relaxing to control one from a bench at the side of a lake. I rarely see these at my local lakes.  add a comment

walking in the park jogging having a picnic playing frisbee

Actually, i think playing frisbee is pretty annoying in the wind: the wind usually grabs the disc and has its way with it. if its a gentle, you can usually accommodate for the wind, but if its really breezy, you almost have no chance to get it where you want.  add a comment

yes. And napkins and other things may fly away in the win if you have a picnic and its hard to run against wind too.  add a comment
