Most Americans view bureaucracy as inefficient and difficult to navigate. The more steps that an individual needs to pass through in order to get some desired result, the more agitated they will become. While generally speaking the federal bureaucracy is inefficient it is able to successfully manange large programs such as Medicare and the US Postal Service.

I agree that the negative view of federal bureaucracy exists and I believe that it is a well founded view. All the crazy pork barrel spending and the excessive bureaucratic expenses easily justify that view.

Most Americans don't like bureaucracy because it is not fun, makes life tedious, and wastes money. However, people don't want to give up what the government provides, so yes/no.

I think it is justified. Many politicians do there jobs, not to serve the people, but to get re-elected. Also, there are too many levels of government jobs. Many departments have too many people to do the work that needs done, so there is obscene waste. Anything involving the government takes too much paperwork, just to justify the workforce.
