If it is an after market alarm, look around for a button under the steering wheel, possibly near the inside fuses. Alternately press the button and turn the key until the alarm shuts off.

You need to see if the alarm is factory installed, dealer, or OEM installed. Once that is figured out; you need to check and see if the alarm was installed right. There should be a bypass switch install on most alarms that you can switch to turn off the alarm. Then trouble shoot from there.

There are people who work only on car alarms that will install and I'm sure fix your car alarm. I'm sure it would be bothering your neighbors so I would first just try to start the vehicle as that will almost always turn the car alarm off. Also, try locking and unlocking the vehicle.

The first step is to turn off the power supply to the car. In order to do this you need to pop the hood and locate the battery. You will want to wear rubber gloves and safety glasses. Remove the wire from the negative terminal first and then remove the positive wire.

If you unplug the alarm, that will serve as a temporary solution to the problem but you might need new batteries for the alarm.
