My recipe calls for 2 cups of equal and I want to substitute splenda, do i use the same amount?

Yes, you can substitute equal amounts of Splenda for equal; but most prefer slightly less because Splenda is naturally sweeter. Taste test about 1 1/2 cups.

Yes you would want to use the same amount of splenda as the recipe calls for sugar. Since splenda is made from the same ingredients as sugar, they are able to use one for one. Any time a recipe calls for two cups of sugar, you can substitute it for two cups of splenda.

No, Equal is more concentrated than sugar, so you use less Equal than you would sugar. You use the exact same amount of Splenda as you would regular sugar.

If a receipe calls for 2 cups of equal, you can substitute that with splenda. Both are two different brand names of sugar substitues.

When substituting Splenda for Equal you will use a little more because Equal is sweeter than sugar or Splenda. Start with 2 cups and add until it tastes right.
