My Dodge transmission is slipping. What should I do?

Well you have a few options. Typically the cheapest thing to do is to rebuild it. Another option is to buy another trans. Otherwise it will usually keep slipping more.

The best thing to do is to get a transmission rebuild kit. It is not to hard to rebuild a transmission it is time consuming to get the transmission out of the vehicle. You can also try draining all of the transmission fluid and change the filter and put fresh fluid in it.

You will have to take it in to get it fixed, or they might have to replace it. Or go to the auto parts store and get a manual. But I think you should just take it in, because I don't think you can fix it yourself a repair person would know best.
