I've clenched my teeth in the night and now my root-canaled tooth hurts 6 days after the procedure. Will it calm down?

I know I have TMJ. I had a root canal 6 days ago on an upper tooth which has been absoloutely fine up until today. I woke up with my teeth clenched, and now I have a dull ache in the root-canaled tooth. I'm wondering if I've done damage?
