I hope there is something that can fix the dye and slow down fading. I can't buy any good cold-water dyes where I live.

After you have dyed the material, never again use hot water when you are washing the item. Use the mildest soap possible and wash in cold water and line dry.

Yes. When using the RIT dye, you want to soak garment in dye, rinse, and let completely dry in the dryer. Then, repeat the process again.
