Give her a nice private place- chances are she'll let you handle the kits, but respect her wishes. Get her a higher quality food, and make her minced chicken, cooked liver- high protein foods, (cats actually like veggies like sweet potatoes mixed with meat). DON'T give her cows milk, but DO provide constant fresh water close to her chosen "nest".

Really, all you can do for your cat is the basics- be sure she had plenty food and water, keep her in a comfortable, safe place, and watch for health problems.

Make sure she has a nesting-box in a room that is away from the traffic of your home. Put the litter-box near the nesting-box. Offer plenty of food and water to your cat, little bits of raw hamburger are good. She may only eat a little for the first few days. Speak in soft tones whenever you enter the room.

Be sure to give her milk. That is really what her body needs. Since she is making milk that is a great way to help her. Also remember she is going to have diarrhea since she is cleaning up the kittens poop and pee.

When your cat is nursing, she needs to have water and food available at all times because nursing is really dehydrating. You also need to make sure that she has a quiet area where she can nurse her kittens undisturbed.
