Your vet can provide you with a variety of prescription appetite stimulants. Loss of appetite is very dangerous for cats and can lead to an often fatal disease called hepatic lipidosis. It is important that your vet determine the underlying cause of your cat's appetite loss; appetite stimulants only treat the symptom.

Mix his food with canned tuna, usually the smell will stimulate them to eat. Depending on the cat, he might like canned cat food over kibbles or vice versa. Try feeding different type and/or brands of food. Take him to the veterinarian if this lasts for more than 2 days.

Try giving your cat a different brand of cat food, or mixing wet with dry food, or adding water to the dry food. Be sure to always provide water with food.

Try hand feeding the pet and see were that goes some times they don't because they are sick so try taking it to the vet.

I have found the suggestion that my veterinarian to encourage a cat to eat has always been effective. His suggestion was to feed the cat something with a strong aroma such as tuna, which has never failed to get the cat in question to eat.

There is a medication, but it is perscription only. Have you tried warm roast chicken? or what about microwaving fishy food? unless your cat can smell it's food it won't eat it. If these don't work, go see your vet.
