Yes, there is a wage inequality in that pilots and management earn far more than comparably trained individuals in other industries. In addition, bonuses are often paid to those in the highest wage categories rather than to those who work the most. Unions have driven salaries to upper limits for some employees however.

There is inequality in all industries. It is the same as it has always been - men earn more than their female counterparts in the same positions.
