Some cable companies charge extra for the Disney Channel, while others bundle it with various packages (if you pay for the package, you get it). Each cable company is different, but more often than not, you'll be paying for it in some capacity. Whether on its own, or through a package.

it might depend on what cable provider you have. I have satellite, dish network, and it is included in the america's top 250 package for that.
