West Gate resorts is a scam company, using clever marketing techniques and sleight of hand, smoke and mirrors, that sort of thing they dodged breaking the "law" for many many years, almost a dozen. There is currently an FBI investigation going on to take any and all profits they received from their crimes.

There is currently a lawsuit in hte process of being filed against Westgate resorts. It is a class-action lawsuit on behalf of salespeople. They are seeking money for not being paid overtime, despite being commission-based agents. The suit claims that thye are entitled to these wages because they are inisde sales agents, rather than outside sales agents.

In the state of Florida workers have filed a lawsuit because of unpaid overtime. Additionally the company is also involved in a lawsuit for on timeshare protection violations in the state of Utah.

There was a class action lawsuit against Westgate Resorts regarding tickets for airfare and lodging that were too difficult to redeem and would not be refunded. They lost and had to pay $1 million in punative damage. A second lawsuit might happen over illegal return of services in the state of Florida
