Most birth control methods that rely on the usage of hormones such as the birth control pill or implants can cause mood swings as they affect brain chemistry. The only birth control that absolutely will not cause mood swings are non-hormone type birth control such as condoms, diaphragms, or other barrier methods.

Some birth controll pills can help even out your mood and make mood swings less frequent in some women, although the type of pill varies based on the patient. Some birth control pills may make some womens mood worse. If the mood swings are from increased estrogen the birth control pill may be making their mood worse.

Different people act differently to different medications. There's no pill the magically will effect everyone's mood the same way. Be prepared to have to try different medications to find one that you feel comfortable with and works well for you. There's nothing wrong with having to try a couple of different ones to find one that's right for you.

The birth control pill can help people who have bad periods. They usually have lower back pain, depression, mood swings, cramps and fatigue. Some can't work either.

No one birth control is best for mood. It is very individualized and you just need to find the one that works for you. Most vary in the amount and type of pregesterone. Also try continuouos vs cyclical amounts.

Birth control does not affect your mood. You can take birth control and anti depressants at the same time. It is safe to take them while you are on the pill.

For many women hormonal birth control (the pill) can help improve your mood, especially during the time you may normally suffer from PMS. This may not be the case for every woman, but it has been shown to work for some.

No, unfortunately there is none. Yes it true that lots can cause mood swings and weight gain.. but if the birth control works for you, you should be experiencing less of it. Try one till it works, there are so many on the market right now, but talk to your doctor and good luck.

A woman can only get pregnant for a maximum (to be overly safe) of 36 hours per monthly cycle. If you and your husband investigate natural family planning you will discover that it is as effective as chemicals and more effective than devices. You will be treating your body's ecology with respect and find that your marriage is strengthened.

what? A woman can only get pregnant for 36 hours a cycle? That doesn't make sense. Do you mean, there are "only" 36 hours during each menstrual period (occurring about 3-5 days out of every 4 weeks) during impregnation can occur?  add a comment
