Is stress one of the causes of nosebleeds?

My friend who is always stressed always seems to get nosebleeds.

Stress can cause nosebleeds because stress causes an increase in blood pressure and cause weak vessels to burst. Since the vessels in the nose are very weak, they commonly break.

Yes, stress effects pretty much the whole body. Depending upon how bad the stress is and how long it is endured. The body not being able to clot is another reason for frequent nosebleeds. That is why you pinch the nostrils and have your friend breathe throught the nose.

Nosebleeds are usually caused by low humidity, frequent nose blowing or irritation, medications or trauma. Stress alone is not a cause of nosebleeds.
