Soy milk is perfectly acceptable for toddlers, although animal milk is better as long as they are not lactose intolerant. However, just like everything in life it is possible to over do the soy milk.

Soy milk is good for toddlers, but make sure you buy the full fat version. As with any milk, it is only good in moderation. You will need to supplement with fatty foods.

Any milk in excess (greater than a quart/day) is detrimental during the toddler period in that the child might not receive sufficient nutrients from a varied diet.

For some toddlers, soy milk is an acceptable alternative to cow's milk, but make sure you buy whole soy milk, not the low-fat or nonfat versions, because fat is important for brain development in young children.

Soy milk is good for toddlers in moderation. You can switch it out with rice milk or another non-dairy milk every other day or so.

Soy milk is safe. There are no risks in giving it to your toddler, but it's only necessary to give it to them if their body can't handle regular milk.

It's good for toddlers, but it's better for them to be drinking cow's milk. Too much soy milk is not good for toddlers at all. Too much can cause problems.

It is HORRIBLE for Toddlers. Soy milk doesn't have a good level of calcium, fat or protein like cows milk, which Toddlers need. The phylates in the Soy Milk actually BLOCK the absorption of Calcium even though calcium is fortified in the milk.
