This software is useful only for blackberry users. It can be used to assign or set ringtones and pictures for address book contacts. User must check the compatibility before downloading this.

Most reviews on the internet for this application are positive and the application does have a trial version that you can use to determine this yourself. However the application is for blackberry OS v4. 1, if you do not have tthis version the program will not be worth having.

Short answer, no. Long answer, still no. PhonePix is pretty much useless. You need to have it open for it to register calls and it will create conflicts with other BlackBerry software.

The PhonePix Photo caller Id is exclusively for handsets having BlackBerry OS v4. 1. This helps us to add photos and custom ringtones to our incoming calls. Windows software is included, allowing us to manipulate images and choose segments from MP3 files to use as our ringtones. Contacts can have one image and/or one ringtone associated to each phone number.

Well it all depends on you. It isn't necessary, but if you like peoples pictures to show up when they call then definitely get it.

Yes, this will help you know who is calling if you have a dial up or satellite internet connection. It will pop up and show you who is calling at the moment.
