Certain Gripe water contains minimum amount of alcohol. But most of the gripe water donot contain alcohol. If your baby suffers from colic,you can give gripe water. It gives relief for the gas pain and treating infant colic symptoms quickly and naturally. So you can use gripe water which does not contain alcohol

Im sure it would be ok. But you should ask her physician. There are many things you shouldnt feed a newborn.
