Is it safe to buy motorcycles second hand from the newspaper?

It depends. If the advertisement is from a trusted source, for example a used vehicle lot, then buying a motorcycle should be safe. Avoid advertisements from personal sellers who give too few details of the motorcycle they are selling. You should also look for phone numbers you could call.

It should be safe as long as you be careful. Always be sure to check out the buyer and never pay cash if possible. Be suspicious if they only provide a cell number and don't have the bike at their own house.

It's not as safe as to buy form new, but if you meet with the vendor and check out the motorcycle yourself then it is safe. It's like buy something half blind.

It is not safe to buy a second hand motorcycle from a newspaper because the motorcycle details which is displayed in the newspaper would be attractive seeing that we would decide to buy but when we go in person and see the motorcycle the situation will be totally different.It is best to buy in reference.
