Is it safe if you have cracks in your tires?

I have noticed that my tires have cracks in them.

I would say no. This is an indication that the rubber is getting old. Your tires could separate from the cord or blow out anytime especially at highway speeds.

No, not really. This is a sure sign that you will have a blow out very soon. You should get the tire replaced as soon as possible.

This depends largely on the nature of the cracks. Small cracks that merely appear on the surface might be aesthetic in nature and relatively harmless. To be cautious that such cracking can be a sign that your tires are aging, so do monitor them for wear.

No, it's not safe, and thank goodness you noticed. Your tires have likely dried out and they need replacing sooner than later. If you can't afford immediate replacement, verify you have a good spare and tire tools, keep a close eye on their condition, and drive with caution.
