Is it possible to do a Jeep engine swap 2.5 to a 4.0?

I'm interested in potential problems.

The swap is very straightforward, as long as you take as much of the electrical you can with you. The mounts and trans would be the same or similar enough to make installation take about three days or so.

It is possible to swap in the 4.0L inline six. Unfortunately you'll need to replace almost the entire drivetrain since it was specific to the power of the 2.5l.

Yes it is possible. It will require moving the motor mounts, changing the transmission, and installing a bigger radiator. Some wiring to make everything work will also be needed.

This is a fairly difficult "repair" job, if you consider yourself a novice i would insist that you contact an automotive expert. It's possible to put almost any engine in any car. You just need the skills to do this, and possibly the ability to manipulate the frame work of your vehicle.
