Mac is a superior product. You get what you pay for. You'll go through four or five PCs during the same time that you'll have a Mac. They don't go on sale and aren't discounted because they don't have to be.

Macs are rarely on discount. A good idea might be to purchase a refurbished unit from Apple Online Store or to ask previous models from individual resellers when Apple releases new models. Macs usually tend to last longer so you can also rest your mind with the fact that you will be able to use in the future.

If you are talking about buying a brand new Mac, then no would have to be the answer,they tend to be more expensive than the equivalent PC, but I suppose there is always secondhand Macs for sale cheaply.

Unless you can find a used model that is old then most of the time no. Apple computer are notoriously pricey because you are paying for the "Image" of the computer. Just wait until the newest model come out and people sell their old systems.

Unfortunately, Apple never offers sales because their products sell so well. Getting a new Mac computer for cheap is difficult, if not impossible. You can usually get a better PC for the same price. Instead, try looking for a used Mac computer for a discount.
