Is it common to have a loose tooth after a dental cleaning?

Prior to getting my teeth cleaned my front tooth was not loose yet now it is.

Yes, it is common to have loose teeth after a cleaning. It will go away 1-2 days after the cleaning as the gums tighten up around the teeth.

It is not common to have the loose tooth after the cleaning of teeth from the dentist. Ask your dentist to get right your problem of loose tooth and it is the duty of the dentist.

It is not common to have a loose teeth after scaling. In chronic gingivitis normally there is less calculus and tendency to bleed on touch but in chronic periodontitis there is heavy calculus deposit and during dental scaling when these are removed the affected tooth becomes loose.

It is common for teeth to be a little loose after a cleaning, but not extremely loose and not for a long time after.
