Icing a rash can reduce the itching and redness,as long as you place the ice in one place and do not move it to other areas you should be fine.

Unless you are allergic to ice, yes it is bad. but if you are not, it will probably reduce the inflammation that is rash is causing and decrease discomfort too. But see your doctor if that rash has been there for a long time

Yes because it will irratate it more. If you rub the ice it could cause it to spread further. Best to put a lotion on it.

Ice, by itself, will not get rid of the rash. It may help with the discomfort. Rashes are itchy and uncomfortable. There can be redness and inflammation also. In addition to the ice you should apply a hydrocortisone cream. Then cover the area with a bandage. You can purchase the cream at any drug store

Adding ice to a rash is usually not a good idea. Moisture added to a rash caused by yeast will help the rash to grow and spread.

As long as the ice is covered by a pack or a cloth, doesn't come into direct contact with the skin, and isn't used for extended periods of time, it shouldn't be a problem. It won't necessarily help heal the rash, but it can relieve itching and swelling.
